Asbestos removal

We have a vast experience in asbestos removal within the industrial sector: our indepth knowledge of legislation and guidance allows us to assist our Client in achieving their goals in a controlled, safe and effective manner.
Asbestos was extensively used as a building material from the early 1900s. It was used for a variety of purposes and was ideal for fireproofing and insulation for its extraordinary strength and thermo-chemical resistance. Asbestos has been recognized to be extremely hazardous if inhaled, possibly causing lung cancer and mesothelioma. In Italy asbestos has been banned since 1992.

We have extensive knowledge of removal procedures and have experience of carrying out removal of non-licensable products such as cement, vinyl and bakelite products. We operate with different encapsulation techniques such as bandage systems, cladding, impregnation of binding liquid.

We have fully trained asbestos removal operatives and trained asbestos managers required to be under regular medical surveillance.
We can undertake all levels of asbestos work, operating to ensure safety and environmental protection: the work area is always maintained to the highest industry standards and our workers use sophisticated respiratory protective equipment and follow strict procedures.

We strive to ensure all employees are safe and injury free. Employees at Termisol Termica are taught to manage their own safety and that of their colleagues to promote an injury free environment. Specific targets are set, and continuous improvements of practices and procedures allow us to review our progress and ensure the highest levels of safety for our employees, clients and contractors.
